cpacek: As an American, I give my trust to the man running my country, as well as my fellow country men.

I do not think that the people will rise against Obama. I think that we, as citizens of this great country, can find more sensible means to change things, if it comes to that.

But I have hope for my country. I believe in America, and I believe that no matter what anyone else thinks, the heart and soul of America cannot be swayed, no matter who says what.

Even McCain himself respected Obama; if you think that image of the US is going to crumble, then I must say, it is your loss for not having hope for this country. (Unless, of course, you are not a citizen of the US… then, just be content that you live elsewhere.)
